Daikanransha, literally meaning “big wheel”, is a colorful, 115-meter tall Ferris wheel located in Odaiba. Adjacent to Venus Fort, an outlet mall styled like Venetian side streets, and Toyota Mega Web, a showroom for new Toyota models, Daikanransha gives great views of Tokyo Bay, Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Skytree and the iron jungle of the metropolitan bay front. The 16-minute ride costs ¥900 and you choose between a color cabin or one of only a few clear-bottom cabins. It’s open from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., and closes an hour later on Fridays and Saturdays, so you’re able to see the magnificent lights of the city at night.

Not exactly a museum, but a floor in the Decks shopping/entertainment complex dedicated to a collection of takoyaki shops. There are over 6 shops that all come from Osaka - where takoyaki is considered a soul food. If you've never had takoyaki, then the best description of it would be a fried ball of heaven. Inside these fried balls are octopus with dashi broth and a variety of toppings on it. You can get small plates of takoyaki from each vendor and compare them together!

This one of a kind art museum sends you back in time to the Edo period (1603-1868) and is also the worlds first Edo-era themed trick art museum. The museum has impressive optical illusions and offers new perspectives to looking at art. The museum has 4 different sections broken up as the “edo area”, “haunted mansion with funny Japanese monsters”, trick art gallery area” and the “puzzle game area”. It’s a unique place to view art and experience the past.

Want to have a hot spring getaway without leaving Tokyo? Look no further than Oedo Onsen Monogatari. It’s a public bathhouse in central Tokyo that’s part theme park, part bathhouse and part ryokan inn. This hot spring theme park features 13 different hot spring baths, an open air bath, foot bath, spa, massage, restaurant, relaxing space, mini soccer court and traditional carnival games at their edo style plaza.

Upon entrance into the bathhouse, you are given a yukata (light kimono) to wear to roam around the place. After soaking and relaxing in their bath, walk around in your yukata and try traditional Japanese snacks and sweets and try some traditional carnival games. If you’re tired you can go rest in their large lounge area where you can lay to rest and maybe even take a nap! If you feel like spending the night you can also reserve a room in a traditional Japanese styled room and sleep on a futon in a tatami matted room.

In front of the Diver City Tokyo Plaza complex, a giant 64.6 feet (almost 20 meters) Gundam statue towers over the area. Gundam is a very popular Japanese military sci-fi animation series that features giant robots called Gundam. Inside the Diver City Tokyo Plaza, there is a huge store dedicated to Gundam with a variety of Gundam goods, action figures, kits and more.

DiverCity Tokyo Plaza opened in 2012 with the concept of a "theatrical city space." The complex has seven floors, with several well-known American apparel stores, high-end fashion brands, and specialized Japanese souvenir shops. On the top floor you can spend a few hours at Round 1, an entertainment facility which has a bowling alley, karaoke and arcade games. The food courts offer a large selection, including fast food, international cuisine and Japanese food.

Looking like it’s something out of a Steven Spielberg sci-fi film, the Fuji Television Main Building was designed by world renowned architect Kenzo Tange. Acting as the HQ for Fuji TV - a major TV network in Japan - most of the building is office space, but the iconic spherical observatory, Wonder Street, a theater mall and restaurants are open to the public. You can enjoy a scenery of Odaiba and Tokyo Bay from their observatory that offers a different perspective of the scenery.

This digital art museum is one of a kind exhibition that features a 10,000 square meter venue with over 500 computers and 400 projectors to make an immersive art experience.
