We are specialised in private tours and small group tours in Tokyo. All of our tours combine Tokyo’s ‘must-see sights’ with hidden gems and back streets. Our tours are culturally immersive walking tours, meaning that you will travel around Tokyo on foot and using the excellent public transport system - like a local! BUT… we do also do tours in private cars for those that prefer to travel in air-conditioned comfort! Throughout the tour, you will learn about Tokyo’s culture, customs, history and the local way of life. Feeling hungry? We’ll get you eating like a local too!

Private Hakone Tour
Only half an hour from Tokyo by bullet train, Hakone is a magnificent mountainous town in the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. Known for its scenic crater lake and hot springs this day tour to Hakone from Tokyo offers breathtaking views of Mount Fuji and a mix of history, culture, nature, and art.

Private Tokyo Food Tour
A private 5.5-hour immersive food tour. Learn about the foundation of Japanese food and cooking, the most popular present-day foods in Japan and finish with some futuristic fusion twists on traditional flavours. Enjoy delicious, high quality food in local eateries as we explore Japan’s food culture.
Available Monday to Saturday.
Private Yokohama Tour
A private 6.5-hour tour of Yokohama. Explore Yokohama through the eyes of the immigrants who arrived into Japan, through the port of Yokohama in the 1800s. Visit their residences on the hills, indulge in a food crawl around Chinatown, enjoy a ferry ride around the harbour and make your own Cup Noodle at the Cup Noodle Museum!
Available every day except Tuesday.
When booking a private tour the only people on your tour are those which you personally invite. If you book our Tokyo Food Tour or Yokohama tour you can add on an extra hour and have the guide meet you in your hotel lobby rather than at the prearranged meeting point. All customised tours start from your hotel lobby!
